With the former figure skater Libuše we sat one chilly afternoon in Kavárna Slavia and watched the Vltava cloaked in winter. She recalled memories when she ice-skated on the river as a child... She also mentioned a serious injury that put an abrupt end to her career.

Then she turned to me and asked: "Michal, people have said to me there's sadness in my eyes. Is that true?" To which I replied: "Libuše, there may be sadness in your eyes but I see there much more than that..."
