Louis Armand
This is a portrait of Louis – Australian poet, artist, critic and Director of the Center for Critical and Cultural Theory in Charles University.
But wait! It is possible that Louis is not in the picture at all. I think it is the man partially blocked by the arrow though I am not sure. I fear that Louis is not physically in the picture and in fact stands beside, there where the arrow points. In Louis's work identity is fragmented and the world is no longer from one piece. How can this world hold together? How can we hold ourselves together?
Louis may not be physically in the picture. But there may be a bit of that which makes Louis be Louis...
